Frosty Mornings Ahead, Peak Color Right Now.

There was something very appealing to me when I looked down at this single leaf on the driveway. The color contrast and the texture makes for a pretty neat shot. I have had a lot of fun the last week or so taking pictures. The color this year seemed slow to develop, but the final show has been worth the wait. However now many of the trees are shedding their showy decorations quickly. Yesterday I noticed many of the trees out front of my house are bare or nearly bare. There will still be plenty to view this weekend, but probably not much after that. And today's wind will only increase the rate of leaf-fall. "Expect at least 1/2 to 1" of leafy accumulation by Saturday morning."
