Ernesto Strengthens, Hurricane Status Sunday?

Just a quick post on "Ernesto" with some folks heading down to the Gulf Coast for one quick trip Labor Day weekend. Above are the latest satellite shot, 5 pm NHC advisory, and model plots so you can see where the possibilities lie. Stay tuned, this could be a big deal over the next few days. In fact it may be a hurricane by Sunday afternoon.
Our weather will be mainly dry and steamy Sunday with a slight chance for an afternoon storm.
Storm chances will be increasing from Monday through Wednesday. Still a chance on Thursday. Rainfall amounts should average at least 1" to 1.5". And then we'll have to see what happens with "Ernesto".
