That Wasn't Thunder. Minor Earthquake.

At 4:44 am a 2.9 earthquake rumbled across northwest Georgia. This minor earthquake was centered the following distances from:
  • Trenton - 5 miles NNE
  • Lookout Mountain, GA - 6 miles WSW
  • Chattanooga Valley, GA - 7 miles W
  • Chattanooga - 13 miles SW
  • Atlanta - 101 miles NW

At least one caller felt the earthquake this morning. She said it rattled some things on shelves, but that was it. She sure was glad I could confirm it. Her husband claimed she was crazy. She's not, and now he owes her supper.

Glad I could help.
