Flo On The Go...Gordon Grows...Rain Helps Us Mow

Hurricane Florence is moving up toward the North Atlantic brushing past the Canadian maritimes, while Gordon is strengthening southeast of Bermuda. Gordon will likely become the 3rd hurricane of 2006. And another system off the African coast could become Helene in the next day or so.
Looks like we finally get a good soaking across the area today through early tomorrow. Most locations should see 1" of rain, with some spots ending up with 1.5". The last time we officially recorded 1" of rain in Chattanooga was on August 20th......22 days ago! That ought to get newly seeded lawns growing.

Today: Showers and a few storms move in. High: 80

Tonight: Rainy periods and a few storms. Low: 68

Wednesday: Rain early, then some sun. High: 75

Thursday: Mostly sunny. High: 81

Friday: Sunny. High: 83

Saturday: Mostly Sunny. High: 85
